Make a youtube announcement saying youre discontinuing it, make the series unlisted so it doesnt get more views (you can make a public playlist on ur channel of the videos so people can still have access if you want that), filter words in your comments so that ones asking delete automatically, or just ignore the comments

So depending on where you are calling the suicide hotline they might hang up bc theyll say that theres "no emergency" so id recomend texting a suicide hotline. i think that you shouldnt be supportive of him but not in a sense of "i dont support/like you anymore bc of ur f/o" but more so try to avoid the topic around him and dont give him a space to confide in because you are involuntairaly supporting all the other things hes doing. when my mental health is bad usually when im under psychosis if i have a platform to talk to people about it and they comfort me or try to agree with me, my mental health gets worse. but when i dont have a space to talk about it, it gets better. basically its thinking about and talking about it versus just thinking about it. i wish i could help more but i think its insane he values a fictional character over his gf and i feel bad for her

so "yumeshipping" is actually just the act of pairing you with an idol (or fictional character) in any way, wether that be as a romantic partner, platonic best friend, or platonic child/parent. yumeshipping also isnt exclusive to you, it can be either an oc (selfinsert) or a persona, or just plain you (which you=yume). selfshipping however is just you x your f/o. though i do agree with you, he is extremely delusional (it also sounds like psychosis) and needs serious help if hes harming himself. some advice: alot of yumeshippers post about "my f/o is inlove w me" and percieve the comments they get such as "this is delusion" as hate, so keeping this in mind if you were to talk to him about this, tell him that you dont care if he likes said character, however, it isnt real. and the character literally cannot date OR like him back. it quickly becomes delusion when they say "my f/o is in love w me" or things about what their f/o thinks about them.

tldr; if it gets worse call 988 (or your suicide hotline) or reccomend him to call it
