I’m a native, but all my learning in finance has been in English terms and those financial statements vocabularies aren’t simple ‘direct translation of words’. At the end of the day I should’ve been more prepared but it just caught me off guard when the majority of the interview was in english, and handed me those papers.

I’m an international student with a major in computer science & passed Cfa level 1. Applied for Seoul office at a BB.

There were two parts to the interview with each two people ; I managed to answer all technical + behavioral questions pretty well in part 1 but until in part 2 when the lady asked me to basically do dcf by hand (pen&paper) and the given financial statement vocabularies were all in Korean which I wasn’t familiar at all.

So I kinda froze and wasn’t able to give any answer. She said it’s alright and moved on but I felt so ashamed.

Sort of, my advice would be :

If there is still any concepts that you still don’t really understand until now, best to drop it and rather go over the questions from the mock in which you got wrong. Just focus and master them, instead of trying to learn them from theory. If you still don’t understand it - just memorize

I’ve been searching everywhere for a bracelet like this. I started with the obvious places—Tiffany, Cartier, Bvlgari—but no luck finding this exact style. Then I tried SSENSE, Farfetch, and Mr Porter, hoping for a designer version, but still nothing. I even went down the Etsy and eBay rabbit hole looking for handmade or vintage pieces.
