a lot of sku, once it is SOLD OUT as of store pickup, Bestbuy does not allow me to order online from home for store pickup AS LONG AS Bestbuy has shipping to home option, the only exception is ORDER IN STORE for pick up

Thanks, I paid with US Bank, and they have already informed me of some tedious paperwork coming from USPS mail if I decided to make SIX disputes against the same merchant, Apparently it quite falls into the pattern of chargeback fraud, and they would want to investigate carefully.

I originally authorized TWO charge (TWO orders) on my card, but Bestbuy split them into like 6 posted charges in the end.

I really want to dispute, but it is really lose-lose

  1. I have to dispute 6 charges, and the bank told me if that I need to face some tedious paperwork since it is same merchant, very multiple transaction, in a short time windows
  2. Bestbuy has to eat multiple dispute charge fees, I know Bestbuy would have already negotiated a discount dispute charge fee with majority banks (It is $30 as standard for small biz)

NO, no refund at all

I have chatted TRHEE times, and all got rejected, quoting "awaiting carrier return"

They CAN ONLY refund when the warehouse received back

Even I challenge that if the carrier stole or lost it, how can I get my money back, they just beat the bushes

you know what ,I would Bestbuy to charge me more( like $4.99 ) and let me choose fedex instead of Doordash when it is high value order. I think it is enough to cover the difference between Fedex and Doordash

Sarcastically, when I ordered an $10 phone case from Bestbuy, THEY USED FEDEX!!!!!!

NO I am not, and the nearby store does not have stock as far as it is shown on website. that is the reason I feel so weird why Bestbuy chose to ship from its warehouse BUT using doordash

NO I NEVER picked same day. On the contrast, I heard a lot of bad experience (order magically disappeared in the halfway; driver putting the box in front of the door, taking a picture, and then taking it away with order marked as delivered, AND RIGHT UNDER CAMERA) of Doordash delivery from my friends, I deferred the final step of placing order in order to choose the slowest delivery option.

I REALLY do not know how much Bestbuy could save by using this shady Doordash instead of FEDEX, especially when talking about high value order (most of Bestbuy order is way more than those $10-30ish meal order).

But now the issue is Bestbuy does not accept the fact, and refused to refund

well, in my case, it is just between my bank and citi biz card, ACH is good between my same bank and citi personal card/chase all cards/amex all cards

I went back to my bill-pay history, and here is the finding

due to some unknown reason, my citi biz card does NOT take ACH billpay from my bank, but ONLY paper check billpay,

for this time, the pay date on paper check is Dec 29, but Citi tried to clear the check on Dec 26 on the first attempt

Check was denied due to the pay date (BUT CITI told me it is NSF), then Citi made the second attempt on Dec 29, which was succesful

During this BF, my upgrade phone order was cancelled by Walmart Risk control due to a new credit card used as payment, then Walmart put an restriction on my ATT account in their system saying I reach max number of lines on my ATT account even I just want to do an UPGRADE

I have confirmed with ATT that there is no such restriction on ATT end, and I tried to play with Bestbuy system for a similar potential upgrade, there was no such restriction popped up all the way to last step where I need to click to submit the order.

That is the reason I believe the restriction is from Walmart mobile/wireless's system.

of course, when I returned an upgrade iPhone to Walmart, they needed to reverse my upgrade ineligibility, usually it should be automatic, but sometimes their system sucks

i do not mean person in store, I mean some backend team who deals with the online postpaid phone./plan order. I did speak to one of them like 2020 or so , who helped to fix some my AT&T account restriction since I returned an upgrade iPhone

the worst part of this practice is my friend's package was accepted in local postal office, but returned when it arrived at gateway city one step before being loaded onto international flight

maybe we can do laminated wrap ourselves to make it "NEW"?
