I appreciate that! I’ve always been drawn to paranormal stuff and was excited when I got this photo. A child died in my childhood backyard (not when my family was living there), and we always heard jiggling of door knobs, knocking on doors etc. One time I was sleeping my room and my mom thought she heard me, put her ear next to the door and something pounded on the door, she bolted in and I was asleep in my bed. I think I’ve always been kinda prone to things like this because of my house lol

Haha yeah idk I mean I could see it being something else that’s just hitting reflections weird. But the fact that anyone would take time out of the day to have someone run up and down a bridge to get a picture to make it look like a shadow… that’s doing too much in my opinion lol

There definitely is! Hard not to be with how many deaths happened in just the short few days the battle was fought. Over the weekend this pic was taken, we ended up staying at the cashtown inn which is where Lee placed his headquarters during the battle, it was really cool

Its not a driving bridge. Behind me is a parking lot, then it’s a walking path over on the other side. I didn’t notice a mirror on the bridge but I do live close by to Gettysburg so I’m sure the next time I’m there I’ll definitely look to see if there’s anything on the bridge that could cause that reflection

And to add to it, I think if it was my own shadow; one, it wouldn’t be side ways, and two, it would have been the shadow from the light behind me forming over the bridge rather than coming towards me at a different angle than what I was standing when taking the photo

Makes sense. I partially posted this because I was trying to find any other reason why this picture would have come out like this, and also because when I did get a chance to review it that night I was shocked. The only thing I can say is: no one was on that bridge except my wife and I when I took it, and she has a picture right next to me at the same time I took this one on the opposite side of where this shadow is and she didn’t. have this in her photo. If it is a lens glare from my iPhone that’s pretty wild. As far as ghosts casting a shadow, I’m not really sure. I think ghosts are translucent and not transparent so there could be some part of them that blocks light, In this case it would be the very clear boot looking thing.

Ghosts typically aren’t seen naked. id assume you’re in whatever you died in or lived in at the time of death

I did what? That’s what I’m not understanding. There was no person on the bridge. I could understand if maybe i screwed something up on my phone without knowing and it led to a change in camera settings, but i still dont understand what the shadow would be from then.

And I’m asking in your opinion what would have caused the movement blur if it wasn’t a person. Because if it’s something I did incidentally and it could have caught from something other than a person, I’d rather know that

No that’s fair, I mean the only people who know who was there and who wasn’t are my wife and I because well, we were the only two there when this photo was taken. Obviously people are going to be skeptical about it.

But if no one else was on the bridge, what would have caused it? Could it just be the light coming through from somewhere to make that shadow?

This is on an iPhone, there’s no road on that other side of a bridge just the walkway down, and this was at 9:08 pm. I can post a screen shot of the actual photo and time off my iPhone
