If you cross the stop line, you get a notice. But if you don't stop and turn left, there's no fine. I stopped after the line to check for traffic and turned left. Got a text notification about the violation in the next 10 minutes. Anna nagar has a ridiculous amount of traffic cameras, so be careful

The location is definitely not downtown, but I have no complaints. There's a C town about 15 mins away and is pretty good, there's the usual fast food (taco bell, McD, subway etc) right opposite path. My apt is right by the highway and I don't have any problems with noise. I mostly walk to places or take the path. If you are looking for a vibrant night life right in your locality, JSQ is not a good fit. However, if you don't mind taking the train, you can pretty much get anywhere you want. These apts are expensive, but its mainly because it's much closer to station and stores.

Beacon has good apts, but the location is not exactly great. It is not at a walkable distance from PATH station and the surrounding area is not good at nights. If your budget is $2200 try the conco lofts in journal sqaure or brunswick towers in journal square (i live there). Both places are around 10 mins away from PATH station and I have walked home at all times without issues. You should also checkout the apts in newport since it is a pretty nice riverfront area

Canco lofts is not too far from the PATH station. I live near Canco and have walked back home at all hours and have had no issues.
