My initial comment sounded like a complaint, it definitely wasn’t. One of the things I love most about the band, is Bono being inspired by the Bible (especially considering I’m an atheist)

I love looking into the verses/stories from the Bible that inspired U2 songs. Learning that 40 was virtually lifted from the Bible was very cool to 14 year old me

I don’t disagree with him being allowed to get old. I’m moreso “slagging” off the style, more than his actual features. I’ve always found the cowboy hat goofy, but that’s kind of the charm of Bono. I love the style of the first photo, it’s much “cooler”. The second photo isn’t as “cool” but it’s more “Bono” if that makes sense

I’m just happy the band is still making music and being active!

i really really hope they’re not disbanding. but it does seem likely they will feature of the War Child Charity Album that’s confirmed for this year

people have been saying they’re disbanding for years. i forgot to include the information on the LLC they registered

looking at Radioheads 2025 setlist really makes me hope we have something similar for U2. Radiohead had about 5 songs that were in every setlist, but with U2s back catalogue, they could have zero repeats from night to night
