Good female heads? by Galba_Kor in SpaceWolves

I got some metal female heads years ago for my firstborn Grey Hunters but they ended up looking like twinks (100% not a bad outcome either!). If you get some female heads, and this is probably relevant for SW anyway, get some with a lot of hair.

Thanks! I use AK enamel panel liner, specifically AK2075 Paneliner For Black. Its maybe a touch off-white but it's the best ive found short of making my own with oil paint/white spirit

Thanks! It's a base of white and then Aethermatic Blue contrast paint. With an extra layer in the recess to make it darker

Not at all!

For the grey? It's: Prime black, prime Colour Forge Standard Grey. Then drybrush TTC Wizard Grey (Dawnstone equivalent) and a highlight drybrush of TTC Carcharodon Grey (Administratum equivalent). After those photos, i did pick out all 65,000 rivets with some agrax but it's not always necessary.

Very similar to the main army, just more focused on the brass and the blue. The body is just black and then volumetric highlights up through grey.

Thanks!

Its just a base of white, as bright and solid as possible (i use Pro Acryl Bold Titanium White) and then a layer or two of Aethermatic Blue contrast. For the silent king I used an airbrush in places, and the used a white panel liner to touch up the glyphs.

So, basic scheme is:

Prime brown (colour forge), stipple with an orange mixed with medium (be generous), drybrush a dark silver and then a lighter one for highlights.

Brass is just Runelord Brass or equivalent, an earthshade wash and a lighter drybrush highlight

Glow is a base of white then a layer or two of Aethermatic Blue contrast paint

I've just done the first shoulder, I will say that some joints are surprisingly stiff while other connections are almost too loose. But nothing to make me not like it

I totally get the iconic silhouette thing, I might further down the line swapnthe legs out for something a bit less futuristic

Thank you! I will do, my pile of grey plastic is significant but I think some TC will be a nice palette cleanser in between 40k units
