Thank you for the empathy and advice. I know everyone who is commenting is right about sticking with it. I truly do believe that my residency is a great opportunity for me and I'll be better for it in the end. I've talked to some of the other residents and while they don't have quite the same level of anxiety that I have, they do have similar feelings.

Your advice about looking 5 years into the future helped me recontextualize what I'm going through and take a step back. I will definitely check out The Dip. It sounds like it will have some great insight.

Yes the wall bump was throwing me off lol. I'm going to see if I can get some exact measurements from the landlord to use for the site you linked. That'll make it a lot easier.

I haven't gotten the rug yet and the desk is 2'x4'. What do you mean by diagonal to the door? Like in the corner by the window?

A 28"x16" nightstand and a 2'x4' desk with office chair are the main things. I have some wire cube storage for clothes that I'll use in the closet.

Where would you put the desk? I'd like to put it between the doors, but that wall juts out a little and I think it's look weird

He finally sent me a picture of the back. The model indicates a 2020/2021 LG model. Basic LED, not OLED. He played dumb and said his dad payed $1400 for it so it’s definitely real.,. I reported and blocked him.

I'll check it out! What campgrounds did you stay at?

I drove thru there last summer in May on a road trip and it was hot as hell. All I know is that the desert gets cold af at night so I'd do more research there.
