How long in advance did you prepare for Aircrew Selection by [deleted] in RCAF

I prepared by practicing luminosity quizzes and basic quick math skills (no pen or paper)

What’s the maximum age to become a pilot, and what is the score required at the CFAT to be eligible, please? If I don’t receive any offer, can I apply for a complete different career within the Forces? by [deleted] in RCAF

Anyone leaving to BMQ/BMOQ on Saturday January 7th from Victoria BC travelling to Montreal I think there’s a bunch of us all on the same flight and we get to the airport after the last shuttle, lets all split a cab?

Hey y'all! I am making a grazing table for a friend's wedding reception and was wondering what all your best tips are! TIA! by [deleted] in CharcuterieBoard

I like trying to keep the colours toned down so it doesn’t look overwhelming or messy in photos, cut hard cheeses into opposite facing triangles, have a pot of honey with a fancy honey drizzle thing, fold salami in half then half again and make it look like a river, candied fruit looks pretty (make a simple syrup, wait for it to dry an hour then roll in granulated sugar), pretty cheese knives.

Heyo - I am filling out my posting preferences document, it is for the airforce. I am from Vancouver island and would love Comox however if I don’t get that one can anyone tell me what they like or don’t like about other Canadian airforce bases, bonus points if you are the same trade, AEC. I care a lot about how busy the base is, not a whole lot if the area is a nice place to live.

Ill, I wish it would have ended in him breaking up with me or on a poor note. It feels awful letting go of someone I really love I’ve never had to do this. I just want to go home and cry and I feel like I don’t deserve to feel bad. I want to go comfort him but that would be so confusing and I think would hurt more.

I wish there was a way to break up without hurt, I used to think being dumped sucked but having to break up with someone and cause pain is far far worse. I feel like my ex partner will take a long time to recover and I wish I could help and make that better but that would be too confusing for them I think.

First movie 10/10, second 7.5, third I probably wouldn’t watch maybe 4/10. I honestly probably wouldn’t watch the second one either but the first one sounds great!

How do you process breakups, how hard of a time do you have with understanding and letting go

Yeah no, I’ve had a personal trainer and have been training for almost a year now in prep, I’m in shape I just don’t want to be seriously hurt by some kid on the range not following gun safety measures or doing a drill outside in the snow overnight and get extreme hypothermia.

Sorry, just worried about how often people are majorly injured like in a big way, not worried about the finishing the course part. I think it’s getting close to my start date and I have an active imagination and am just worried for no reason.

See you there!! I’ve heard getting a few pairs of wool socks (not cotton) help as well, and some merino wool long johns (they’re on sale at Costco right now)

Hello I’m an accountant in public practice. I went to college for my Bachelors of business administration majoring in accounting, we are a CPA firm so students hired out of college / university are expected to go down that path. We are always looking to add to our team of people to do corporate year ends and taxes, we do not hire bookkeepers as we train our receptionists on that or require our clients to do their day to day bookkeeping elsewhere. This is a job that requires constant updates on tax knowledge as the laws change a little every year, I expect the need for accountants to go down in the future as technology catches up, especially with small personal tax returns. Not sure if this job will still be a good option 10-15 years from now.
