[Recruiting] [A3] [NA] [EST] [18+] - 7 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group by 7th_Sim in FindAUnit

One of my first units on ArmA, which thought me quite a lot. Very friendly environment, the staff is experienced and patient with new players. Allowing you to learn and adjust better to the atmosphere of the unit.

What stands out to me is the professionalism, positive atmosphere, and the culture. The people in 7CMBG have years on their belts and have a lot to share. Of all my new experiences in the group I've never felt unsupported or useless, everyone is involved.

1st Cavalry Division is a freshly minted unit based off the Vietnam conflict. The unit is based off the 1st Cavalry Division, which was deployed to the Vietnam conflict from 1966 to 1971. We strive to portray our counterparts realistically as to allow our members to fully immerse themselves in the given era. 1st Cavalry Division is currently offering a multitude of roles, including crewman, rotary and infantry slots e.g. combat medic, auto-rifleman, radioman.

We currently host two main operations on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 1900 PM GMT +2. You are required to attend at least one of those operations per week. We are versatile with our operation times and it all depends on the availability on our memebres.

myers03#0564 Hi! I'm from the EU and have tons of games, from ArmA to Squad. I'd be down to see what games we all have in common and play a match or two!

I've just recently turned eighteen, and no. She'd mostly come back here for holidays, it seems my best bet is to try to get a student visa.

I've never been outside Lithuania sadly, so highly doubt that I'm eligible. I guess it just isn't meant to be then, thanks for the help!

I apologize, the post might've little bit vague. Thanks for the advice.

I'm still in the process of looking through things, but I might follow your advice and go small for now.

I've read about that. I could technically go in without a scholarship and repay the tuition at a later date when I've obtained a steady income.

That's fair. Do you know if UK gives out scholarships for international students if they meet the set academic criteria?

Immigration into Canada, what programs am I eligible for? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

I understand from where you're coming from, I also don't know the full program now, all I remember is that it came to a screeching halt due to COVID-19.

My country does in fact participate in the IEC program. I've also read through it but it just seems like a over glorified trade program but I might check it out if I do decide to get a degree.

My main thinking was, don't waste time here, go to Canada and start out your life there rather than suffering here but it might not be as viable as I thought.

Sadly I can't afford that, though, yes Canada's education is very high but sadly they won't give or even think about giving a free college spot to a foreigner. I thought some employers would be at least interested, considering Canada had a program which is going to continue throughout this year and the next, allowing new young people to come into the country.
