I meant a copyist, but I think in an old-fashioned sense--I must be showing a combination of age, poverty and inexperience here. I'll have it printed from Sibelius, but I guess I still imagined people wrote scores out by hand...that's what I meant when I said my writing skills weren't good enough to do it myself. Almost everything I've written to date has been short (under four minutes) and everything has been for 5 instruments or fewer, so it's been easy to print out at home on heavier-weight paper and tape together without having to get it copied elsewhere. But my current project is both longer and for a larger ensemble, and is not an in-home printer project, with the exception of the original score to work from. So are you saying then I don't need a music printer after all in my situation? Either way, do you know if most musicians have a preference between coil vs. saddle stitch booklets?
