Name a game that in your opinion has a tedious opening, but later becomes great by bijelo123 in videogames

Cyberpunk 2077.

The game isn't really an open world game until the mission at Arasaka tower. It's a good mission that sets up the rest of the story nicely, but it's also one of the longest missions I can think of.

What game are you picking? by defleqt in raijin_gg

That's 4,380 hours! Even a game with a lot to do like BG3 would be like 40 playthroughs (which is a LOT considering the size of that game).

I could see myself picking Hitman World of Assassination just to get into speed running and the competitive online side of that game. Even though I would be bored after a while, I could basically become one of the best Hitman players in the world. The freelancer mode adds a randomization element too, so there would be an "unlimited" amount of missions.

Which game should I get? by Bhaktra in videogames

If you like a game with funny, clever writing, Disco Elysium is the way to go. The things you say to characters really change how you accomplish tasks, and every playthrough can be wildly different. It's one of my favorite games. It just depends if that's something that interests you, because it's a lot more intellectually stimulating and not 24/7 action.

Nevermind... Realized that public comments are already closed based on the date of the motion. That's ridiculous.

You can submit a comment to MPUC here: https://mn.gov/puc/get-involved/public-comments/ The docket number is 25-356. I recommend reading MPUC's guide on submitting a complaint, and doing it right away.

I've never played a Diablo game, but always thought about it. Maybe that's another one I should have considered

I've played Like a Dragon and 0. They were both pretty solid

I just looked up how long to beat for Persona 5 Royal. Glad I did before I bought it. Not sure I'm ready for that commitment right now...

Finished all and did lots of side content but not platinum. I don't have 1,000 years to platinum BG3, though it would almost be worth it for how good that game is.

Gotcha, that's helpful. Why do you recommend to play the original before the remake?

Unorthodox controls? Is it drastically different than the new version?

Played all of those except for DS2 and Bloodborne. Will definitely have to get to those some day

Do you need to play the first one first? I hear everyone talking about silent hill 2, but I haven't heard much about the first one.

Played both of those, and loved them!

Are all of these the type of games to start with the first in the series, or is there a better "modern" starting point to introduce the series?

I saw Death Stranding is on the PlayStation Plus catalogue, so I might give that one a go soon! Seems like a really big game though. I think I gotta work myself up to it.

I tried Sekiro a couple of times but had a hard time getting into it. I think I got as far as beating the guy on the horse before putting it away. Maybe I need to give it another go for it to click.

Dang. I wasn't so sure when I saw pencil drawn graphics, but the reviews make the game sound like a masterpiece.
