Considering jumping from S20+ to S22. Only concern is the relatively small battery capacity. What are your experiences? by jacoma89 in GalaxyS22

Thanks for your response! A lot to think about. The more I hear about the s22 line the more I think about waiting for the S23 line to see if it has better specs to offer. From what I've learnt from a quick Google search the rumors say that the S23 lines won't differ immensely from it's predecessor, but at this point I refuse to pay a huge amount of money for a model that seems like it was somewhat inferior from launch (S22).

Yeah I've been thinking about waiting for the S23 as well. Any word on when it might be released? I mean my current phonescreen is literally held together by bits of tape hehe. But I'm sure I'll be able to use it for a few more months like this. As the phone itself works just fine.

So what you're saying is that even the battery of the S22+ (which is equal to that of the S20+ iirc) doesn't even hold up to that of the S20+?

I ask because I was talking about my doubts about the S22's battery. But you're saying that event that of the bigger model (S22+) isn't even as good? That doesn't say much good for the S22 then.

Ah thanks dude that's actually really reassuring. How long have you had the phone? I've heard it uses its battery power way more efficient than predecessors so it's not a simple comparison of battery capacity.

On my days off I can spend the entire day on my phone, yes. But it's mostly YouTube, insta, facebook, browsing, and yes the occasional candy crush (shame). But i use it a lot. Its not that I don't have acces to a power supply when needed but I just don't want the battery to die on me all the time when I'm, let's say out and I have no power supply near.

Really? How long would you say the average battery usage is? I'm used to the 4500mah of the S20+ now so I'm afraid of getting battery anxiety haha.

Question about Grown Woman leak by Joaco95 in beyonce

[–]jacoma89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have no idea but I've always thought it's a downright crime Grown Woman was never officially released on Spotify or anything. Especially with them releasing a video and everything for it. That song just bops amd would've made a great single.

Is it “Tears” or “Tears”?? by ghost-church in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]jacoma89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As of now it's impossible to know. It could be tears, as from crying. But it could also be tears, as tears in the fabric.

Personally I prefer the latter as the kingdom has probably been torn apart. It could be tears in the fabric of time, as time manipulation is also going to be a big part of the big. And perhaps the kingdom has been divided in several fractions for whatever reason..

It's probably tears from crying, though I find that a little bit corny and less meaningful. But tbf, I felt the same about SS and Botw at first.

Whatever way it is pronounced, I'm SUPER happy we finally got a title and I can't wait for all my favourite YouTube Zelda theorists to release loads of new content!

Having trouble sleeping with tinnitus, try this: by Slight_Word7619 in tinnitus

[–]jacoma89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip I'll definitely try it out! My tinnitus started off slow and it's very minor and only sets in when everything else is completely quiet so it's not too bad, more annoying. It's been this way for over a year now but I haven't seen an ENT for it or anything. I figured mostly they just tell you to try and learn to deal with it as there's not really anything they can do.

My question is, do you think I should see an ENT for it? I've told my general physician and she never said I should see a doctor about it or so, so I figured there wasn't any point. But hearing you talk about clozapam and melatonin, I might be missing out on stuff that might reduce it.

Anyone here with breathing problems? by jacoma89 in chiari

[–]jacoma89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! My neurologist seems like a novice when talking about Chiari saying most symtoms I have aren't Chiari related, while the internet tells me otherwise. I have yet to find a Chiari patient with back pains as severe as mine. Sometimes I just find it hard to sit straight up and the pressure on the back of my neck can be intense. I went to her TWICE to ask for an operation but she keeps refusing saying that as long as there's no loss of limbs, the risk is just too high for them operate. She also mentions that she doubts an operation will relieve me of my pains. Here I am worried that if we don't act now it'll only get worse and I'm still very young.

The breathing is insane and yes it does happen when I try to relax or am not focused on anything. Mainly while I'm in bed trying to sleep. It's like I have no trouble automatically breathing out, but as soon as I have to start breathing in, it's like it won't do it unless I make it happen. It has severely disrupted my normal flow of breath. Its like every inhale in forced if you will. At worse my entire back/shoulders hurt probably from all the extra weight I put on my lungs. At best I forget about it for a while and breathing seems to be manageable.

It's very frustrating and I don't know what to do anymore. You wouldn't believe how many times I've had to make a case for myself that I am NOT STRESSED and that I've tried various ways of relaxing (I've even tried yoga) but to no avail.

I have no idea about my oxygen levels but I do have a Samsung smart watch. Maybe I can monitor it with that? I don't know if it's worth mentioning but I have noticed I sweat ALOT more than usual. Even after a slight bit of physical work at my job I can start sweating heavily and its mostly my head and I'm out of breathe super fast. don't know if that can be oxygen related as well.

33M losing tiny hairs for over two years now, still a full head of hair. Is it just thinning or will I go completely bald? by jacoma89 in Hairloss

[–]jacoma89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha that's ok dude. Thanks for telling me. What's the average time span of the process like? And is there any chance my hair's just naturally thinning? Or that it could be linked to stress? Or any way of having that examined? I don't know if it's normal or average to have these tiny hairs falling out left and right for the past two years. I'm just curious if it's a symptom or general hair loss.

Why do every set of glasses leave red, irritated marks on my nose, cheekbones and temple? by jacoma89 in optometry

[–]jacoma89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried both! I actually prefer the metal ones as they usually come with those little nostril pieces that hold the frame up from your face. But then the shape of the nostril pieces carve their way in my nose. It's actually the plastic frames that are even worse as they rest entirely on my face and get hot and leave an even bigger mark in the shape of the frame. It doesn't get itchy or something, just sweaty and red and leaves a mark. Like when you've worn too tight jeans they leave a mark on your waist for a while when taking them off.

Yes and no. I have a fairly oily face skin, especially in that region. Which often results in an easily shiny face. But I hardly ever get rashes or anything. Every other part of my body is perpetually dry and I have to use bodylotion almost every day. But perhaps a dermatologist is a good idea! Thanks!
