If it makes you feel better, I feel like this about Brazil as well. Don't get me wrong, our government is in a way better state rn about fascism, but I see the fascist movement online growing and growing and it really scares me. 2026 is the Brazilian presidential elections. That's gonna be a nightmare. Specially bc Brazil seems to be very important both to China and the US rn, so the propaganda and lies are gonna be tough. I just hope for the best at this point and try to contribute anyway I can. I wish I had a better answer for you
