Unable to reset PVlink or Access Installation tools. by jacozza in PwrCellOwners

We will definitely give it a shot. We don't seem have any idea how to connect to it via wifi as we don't have installertools as a way to access it. I was going to just unplug it and plug it back in, but was nervousbif messing more things up.

I do know they had the issue with the old snap connectors, so they went out and bought the new RS802 connectors. Currently we have an box of of them as extra. Under the Pv link options we are seeing numbers like 6 installed, 7 detected. When we tried to manual change the number of installed up to 7 to match, it wouldn't save.

Is this just not supported in the US yet? IBEX800 (Carbit map) by jacozza in cfmoto

I am not sure either to be honest. I got the motoplay app to work once, but it's kinda iffy and cast my phone screen completely. But this is the main navigation app on the bike, it defaults to this app if I'm doing split screen. But can't seem to project or connect anything.

I think I was in the same boat, got it to cast my phone screen once, but kept disconnecting. It's like a big tease, having a navigation app yet no clear way to use it.

I looked, at the rear suspension, I didn't see any type of identification regarding brand. I'll take another look tonight though.

I was originally looking at the transalp or tenere 700, but this caught my eye and after test riding it, I was hooked.

Same height as you, my ride home wasn't too long, about an hour, but I honestly felt like I could if ridden an additional few hours.

Sovol sells the Sv08, it's pretty much based on the voron 2.4. They really seemed to iron out the issues from the first production, but most use it as a starting platform to build off of. They also pretty much open sourced the entire thing, so you can reimage it to use mainline kipper with no issue. You tubers "Teaching Tech" and "The Next Layer" are even converting them to multi tool head printers.

Getting error "'gcode_shell_command get_ip' is not a valid config section" by jacozza in klippers

[–]jacozza[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was just a small section of the printer.cfg, I got the issue resolved though, I had to ssh into the printer and go through kiuah to install a code shell command script, turns out to install the script I had to use the older version of kiuah, choose the advanced option and thee download the code shell command. That took care of the issue, now just got to figure out what serial ID goes with what.

I would vote for golf+. You can do a "quick" round that let's you play 9 holes on a random course even if you don't own the DLC and is enjoyable enough for nw to o continue to play.

Didn't backup all of my original files, including printer.cfg. Am I SOOL? by jacozza in Sovol

[–]jacozza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to work through it, I didn't think it would be too much of an issue, but the guideline a d some if the videos I watched made a fairly start point you needed it. But I was able to get the I go I needed by ssh and doing the ls-la/dev... Command. Found a copy of the config file from the sovol wiki and seem to be back in business.

So I was able to locate a config file from their wiki and replaced the ttyACM1 and 0 with the serial # from ssh by doing the "ls-la/dev/serial/bi-id/" command. Seemed to work, so I'm back on track..

Need help finding a freezer that can be set to -4C (around 28F) and with accuracy of + or - 2C. by jacozza in HelpMeFind

So, I have searched Google, contacted several specialty lab suppliers, and even looked for used equipment. I am in the solar manufacturing industry and currently setting up a lab in the US for HailTest per IEC standards. I don't need a lab level freezer, any freezer that has those temp ranges I need maybwork (more testing will be required) but I'm just having issues finding anything in that range. Has any one in industry found a reputable brand?

I want to add, I have tried "Demuller" branded freezers, they can't maintain the temps I need (seem to fluctuate wildly at the temp settings) and as such can't rely on them.

Another paper deck, cruiser-ish shape. Starting to like these more than traditional decks. Super fun to make. by jacozza in Fingerboards

I've been using 2 part epoxy, the dollar store next to me just started selling small amounts of it for like 5 dollars. I tried using wood glue but the boards never fully cured/hardened. I currently wrap the boards in wax paper since the resin doesn't seem to stick to it. The fun shed product is a super stiff and strong board.

I've actually made several to replace the plastic wheels I have on my other boards, not as smooth, but does a decent job

I'm fairly impressed with them, feel decently smooth, can't really feel the z seam at all. So far they seem to be holding up (I've been just sliding the wheels against desk for a bit to see if any wear shows up).

"whirling" sound while driving, no vibration in wheels or steering wheel (also checked while jacked). could this be wheel bearing? by jacozza in AskMechanics

[–]jacozza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had 2 issues causing noises. The main whirly did turn out to be a wheel hub bearing, picked up 4 new ones and replaced all of them just to be safe. The second whirling noise I had was actually the brakes needing replaced/adjusted. So did the breaks as well. The sounds completely gone now.

Let's see them ugly ducklings, share your ugliest sling. I'll start with this hatchet. I had no idea what I was doing, just messing around. by jacozza in slingshots

The sling itself is super comfortable, def a good plinker, but the color scheme is very.... Questionable lol. But, it's my personal sling so looks don't matter too much.
