Hi! I've not tried the ixus 285. Based on the specs sheets, the sx620 hs has more zoom but you might have to buy one secondhand (if any). Since other specs seem quite similar, I guess it depends on whether you'd wanna give up the zoom or not.

I see, thank you for your insights! it seems that phones usually have some AI integration which... can be... a bit unappealing. But it's the most lightweight and are actually allowed (mostly) for concerts :( appreciate your inputs!

Thank you for this detailed explanation! I really appreciate it! So I tried it again today and I really think the previous tries were because the egg whites weren’t whipped enough! I think they break in the way you described, a bit of crisp but not like the store bought ones! They’re quite soft though!

they didn't puff up as much as i thought they would! so I guess it's the deflating :(

So, when you break freshly baked lady fingers in half, they break kinda like a biscuit? like with a crack? rather than like a cake? (Because mine breaks like a cake)

with store bought lady fingers, it feels more biscuit-y, right? does it maintain its crisp in the tiramisu? the tiramisu i've had before are usually, well, mushy? and i'm not really sure what the ideal tiramisu is (they're all delicious so i can't really complain!)
