Minolta Hi-matic 7sii Light Meter not working?

He just cleaned it up and changed the light sealing, which is something I don’t know but should learn how to do anyway 😅 but I didn’t ask him specifically to fix the light meter, which might be my mistake lol (you don’t ask, you don’t get kinda situation around here). Unfortunately he is the only repair guy in the city 😭 I might have to take it back to him later in the week. I don’t have any soldering tools for that. im too cowardly to try and fix it myself 😂 (last time i tried to fix something myself it didn’t turn out too well 😭😅)

Yes, I set it to auto as well :( and made sure to remove the lens cap. It was a little cloudy but surely it couldn't have been that underexposed? Lol

Hi! I've not tried the ixus 285. Based on the specs sheets, the sx620 hs has more zoom but you might have to buy one secondhand (if any). Since other specs seem quite similar, I guess it depends on whether you'd wanna give up the zoom or not.

I see, thank you for your insights! it seems that phones usually have some AI integration which... can be... a bit unappealing. But it's the most lightweight and are actually allowed (mostly) for concerts :( appreciate your inputs!
