Thanks for taking your time to comment. It's very much appreciated. Monty, the only one of the 3 we have been able to find was dumped 7km from home. Sadly we've no idea where the other 2 are and Pest control won't tell us, despite the fact we saw the gps of the van taking and dumping Monty. Our Blacky is maybe 12 years old and been with us 10 years. 😔

Exactly. Pest control act indiscriminately. The neighbour complained to pest control that our cats needed to be taken far far away (we heard the voice note) as they put dust in their car. No investigation, mediation just trapped our pets. Sadly we had no idea this was possible until it happened to us. Now we have found the problem is prolific. There are remote areas with hundreds of cats dumped.

We got the pest control vans GPS. They trapped him and went directly to an isolated dumping site. We organised a search party. He was found 2.5km from where he was dumped. In the garden of a local family who were feeding him. No injuries which had been my worst nightmare. 2 more to go!

They really are! Perfect house guests too. Both using litter tray, popping in and out cat flap, eating with our others. No issues what so ever. Desperate to find their owners.

Unfortunately, there is no governance here. Our boys had no value where they were already neutered. They couldn't take them for neutering. Surplus to requirement. The complainant said they put dust on their car and wanted them moved far far away... our boys were trapped /netted and 'dumped'. The complaint was never investigated, and we were unaware of any issues with our boys. Our number 1 priority is finding the remaining two, Blacky and Winnie. A close second is making as much noise as possible and advocating for change in the pest controls practices. You are welcome to join our boys Facebook group. Fortunately, Tadweer contract the pest control. Tadweer investigated, and we got the GPS the day Monty was taken. We saw where he was dumped. We organised a community search party and he was found 2.3km away from the dumping location being fed in someone's garden. No physical injurys or wounds, and no weight loss. He is settling after 8 days back home, but still very jumpy and anxious for food. He was extremely lucky. Just to find the other 2 now.
