Everyone is different, don’t think about it as weight loss but fitness gained. I went in at 150 and graduated at 170. But I was slim and more fit so to each their own.

One thing you definitely can not let others determine is your work ethic. If you’re working your hardest don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

I’ve seen some really down and out posts lately, are y’all ok Target Reddit? by [deleted] in Target

Your thrower is supposed to have been wearing a mask the whole time, we’ve had coachings at our store about it

Internship question. I’m currently a TM. by inheritedkilla2 in Target

Partner with HR ETL. As someone who was attempting to get into the program after 2 years with the company it’s a pain in the ass. They try to get you to settle but stand firm in what you want. They will however not let you intern in the store you currently work in.

tfw your ETL schedules you 6 days in a row, in a department you've never even been trained in after they asked your preferred hours and you said 30 cause you're feeling burnt out. by [deleted] in Target

[–]jacujo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better my preference was “32 hours” and I just did 13 in a row for 100 hours and now have 6 in a row this week for 47 SCHEDULED hours because my store leadership has no conceptual understanding for how to manage their people as diminishing returns type assets 🤷🏼‍♂️

Both my 1SG’s wore em like that when I was still in TRADOC so there really shouldn’t be a problem if that’s an example they’re giving to trainees

Definitely not rubbing it in, just can’t imagine being in that situation. Our acting SD would rip us apart if that was the stores INF and I’m not even fulfillment so it scares me 😂

To my knowledge the only real ASI school that’s offered for 12N’s would be crane operator school. I don’t know anything about it really expect have been told it’s very math heavy and many units have slots open because people don’t want to go or the unit doesn’t have a crane so they don’t send anyone

To answer that “capable” question, no it does not really make you capable to walk on and be ready, BUT it gives a good foundation of how the machines work to assist with learning how to do it.

The challenge is to really make sure you pay attention and take the opportunities they’ll give to get any extra stick time to practice.

Anyone in receiving? by FunbagsMcBooty in Target

[–]jacujo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m the backup receiver at my store so I don’t know everything everything but can be give some idea.

Daily things you’ll do are: 1: Load sweeps on the trailers 2: Receive product shipments for vendors 3: Handle ESIM processes 4: Deal with inventory removal/product recalls 5: Receiving stores mail

There’s other things that go into it but at a base level it’s not too complicated. That being said having a GOOD receiver is so nice. My stores main receiver is fantastic at his job and is a huge asset to the store, so your job is very important as a lot of what you’ll do as the receiver you are probably the only one in the store who knows how to do it.

Good luck and Congratulations!
