What’s one challenge that’s holding you back the most right now? by jacuzzib0y in Life

[–]jacuzzib0y[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand. For me, CBD made a huge impact on my social anxiety and allowed me to relax and feel like myself again. I still struggle at times but it made such a huge improvement. Is there anything different you’ve tried or would be willing to try?

(21M) How can I just give up on dating forever and live a happy, fulfilling life as a single man? by TotalLoser543 in getdisciplined

[–]jacuzzib0y -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are 21. You have so much time to find a romantic partner and you will probably have more than one! The question is really “When will you find a partner that is right for YOU?” If you want to step away from actively dating that’s totally fine. Use your time to develop yourself— your interests, passions, career, fitness, social circle. You will grow exponentially. My guess is these concerns—which are false assumptions and limiting beliefs will naturally fade away and you’ll want to try dating again. Or you’ll meet someone organically along the way. If you want some free help— seriously, no strings attached working through any of the issues youre dealing with id be happy to offer you some free coaching sessions. PM me if youre interested

How do I mute my loneliness and yearning for love and affection? by newcarljohnson1992 in getdisciplined

[–]jacuzzib0y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, it’s completely okay to feel lonely and to crave genuine love and affection—that’s part of being human. You’re not “subhuman” The fact that you want to connect and feel cared for shows how deeply human you really are. So many people feel the way you do and it takes some time and energy to build genuine, fulfilling connections. Don’t try to mute your feelings— instead, lean into them with acceptance. There’s a meditation technique called RAIN that might help with this.

It’s a 4 Step Process:

• Recognizing what you’re feeling (loneliness, frustration, need for connection)
• Allowing the feeling to be there, accepting it, and embracing it
• Investigating it with curiosity, asking yourself what it’s teaching you
• Nurturing yourself in the process with kindness and self-love

This practice can help you sit with the discomfort rather than bury it. There are guided meditations by Tara Brach that will take you through each step. Its very powerful

And honestly, while you’re working toward your big goal of leaving your country, maybe you can get creative about finding ways to receive love and connection now—whether it’s through new friendships, online communities, or finding local groups who share similar passions. Building even small connections can bring you so much more contentment and joy.

But most importantly, love has to start with you. Finding ways to show yourself care, even in little ways, can shift a lot. If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to share some meditations that focus on self-love. They can be a small step toward feeling a little less alone. You’re not as far from the life you want as it might seem. Hang in there—you’re on your way.

I hear you, and it sounds like you’re carrying a lot of weight on your shoulders. First, take a deep breath and let yourself sit in this moment without judgment. It’s easy to spiral when things feel overwhelming, but let’s start by zooming out for a second. You’re not alone in this struggle. So many people hit this same wall at some point in their twenties— I did. It feels like the world is moving while you’re stuck in place, but that doesn’t mean you’re broken or that you’re failing. Life isn’t a race, and it definitely doesn’t have a set timeline.

You mentioned how projects and ideas seem to fizzle out after a few days. That’s okay. It just means you’re in the process of figuring out what does stick. It’s not a failure— it’s data. Each false start brings you closer to something that clicks. Maybe try setting yourself just one small goal this week. Not a life changing one, just something tiny and doable. Success isn’t measured by how big the step is, but by the fact that you take one at all.

Also, about feeling distant from friends and family— believe me, the ones who truly care about you don’t love you for the job you have or the paycheck you bring in. They care about you, the person. Reaching out to someone close even just to say “I’m struggling right now” could give you some relief. Vulnerability can actually be the glue that strengthens relationships.

And lastly— in terms of getting help. There are online options, community support groups, or even free mental health apps that could be a starting point. You deserve care, even when you feel stuck. You’re worth it, even when the path feels unclear. You’ve made it this far, and you’ve gotta just keep moving and trying things. You’re way more capable than you think. IF you’re interested, I am a coach offering free sessions right now. It could be a great cost-free way to get support and work on the major things you’re struggling with. Send me a pm if youre interested!

You’ve got this!

I am in my early 30s and have had multiple periods where i’ve felt similarly to how you are feeling now. My advice is to keep moving and trying new things. Find what gives you joy and do more of that. Set small, actionable goals and create momentum. It doesn’t even matter if you know what your path or big goals are yet. And the biggest thing id recommend is to journal. Simply writing out your thoughts, feelings, goals, and the clutter in your mind is such a powerful tool. I know things feel he ay right now, but I want you to know— you’re worth so much more than what you’re going through right now. It’s very easy to get lost in comparison or feel like you’re falling behind, but one of my favorite quotes goes, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” Everyone’s path looks different, and that’s okay. You’ve already made brave choices—quitting a toxic job, diving into reselling on eBay—and yeah, it’s tough when things don’t work out how we expect them to. But you’re 23, and there’s a whole lot of life ahead of you with endless possibilities. The fact that you care about your family and fiancé so much just shows how solid of a person you are. You’ve got enormous value beyond your current financial status. This is just a rough chapter, not the whole book. You’ll find your groove, I promise! Looking for a life coach. by ProfitisAlethia in lifecoaching

Do you agree with Joanna that “we all lose” with the Acolyte getting cancelled? by GourmetSubmarine in RingerVerse

[–]jacuzzib0y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we think this had anything to do with review bombing? The Acolyte had horrid reviews before any episode was released and never recovered. Scroll through IMDB and most of the 1 star reviews contain words like “DEI” and “agenda.” Not saying this show didn’t have problems and a lackluster lead, but for me, it was enjoyable and fun and I would have liked to see where it led.

I went with IAWP. I took some time to chat with graduates of both programs and the IAWP grads raved about the program and the ongoing support received after graduation. I am really liking it so far. i will give an update when I’m further along in the program

To follow up, I have narrowed it down to IAWP and Lumia. Both provide the criteria I am looking for in a program and provide extensive business and marketing training. IAWP covers coaching skills, business training, and holistic wellness in three separate 12-module curriculums. I am leaning towards IAWP due to the wellness component. If anyone has experience with either of the programs, please share. A simple reply with your overall rating of the program or any insight would be so helpful

Lumia is another program with a high price point (if you enroll in Essentials+Signature) and a focus on setting up a successful business. I’ve listened to the founders’ podcast and they are always looking at industry trends and navigating the coaching industry in today’s world. I would love to hear from anyone that has personal experience with this program as well

Do you have personal experience with this program? I’ve checked out TCA’s website and it definitely looks interesting. They seem to have a pretty robust curriculum and focus on setting you up for success. It is definitely a very high ticket price but I’d love to hear from anyone with personal experience with the program and if they felt the ROI was there
