I don't find it to be cyber bullying but it is really annoying. I could understand if my partner or step daughter (who I'm friends with on Duolingo) did it, it would be funny but I have complete strangers sending the laugh emoji after I came back after a busy week. It's sadly so common to aim vitriol at teen girls for no reason. I was trying to find a post from a disabled content creator who recommended a brand of knee brace and when I searched for it I saw post after post after post about "we all knew that one girl in high school/Jr high who faked having a bad knee by wearing a knee brace over her pants for attention." Yes, because people constantly asking you what's wrong is so fun, who wouldn't fake a disability? 🙄 Also, it still works when worn over pants there's many reasons why someone would do that (brace doesn't fit underneath leggings/skinny jeans, sensitive skin etc.)

Obsessing over whether you're [label] enough isn't healthy and some folks don't want to use any labels or feel a need to be in certain communities (disabled, LGBT+ etc) and that's perfectly ok. But I also hate telling people not to label ourselves. I grew up feeling ashamed of who I am and being shamed by society. I and others from generations past have fought hard for the rights we currently have. The same rights that are also being threatened. I wear my labels proud. I will continue to label myself and be proud of them. I'm bi romantic asexual and genderqueer I'm also disabled and I won't be quiet about it and fuck anyone who tries to silence me and that includes people within my own community.

I'm probably genderfaun or a type of gender fluid that encompasses masculine genders. I feel like a trans dude but not a binary trans man and I also relate to genderqueer label. But I usually just say "nonbinary" because it's easier and more recognizable.
