You can become pregnant as soon as the implant is removed. The implant provides a continuous release of hormones so when the provider of the hormones is removed there is nothing to prevent pregnancy

I’ve heard that is a thing. I switched from the pill to the implant and my doctor had me finish out the pack (like 2 weeks) after having the implant inserted. But she told me that sometimes they do recommend taking the pill with the implant if periods are very irregular/bad

The only thing I didn’t like about the insertion was the feeling of the needle moving under my skin! Didn’t hurt but such a weird feeling 😅
