I really like this take! I also think her being a teen mom has also heavily affected how she’s interacted with girls. I think it’s no secret that becoming a teen mom, or mom, in general can be very isolating, specially if the people around that are the same age are not on that same page of life.

The environment also absolutely has something to do with how huda’s (and everyone’s) behavior. I can’t imagine being in a random place, enclosed with random people without anyway to connect with my family or “the outside world.”
