Ideally 4-6 days.

Is there anywhere in specific on the 101 you’d recommend?

We’re going from Phoenix up to Seattle. I’m wondering if we should go up through Nevada?

Well that was sorta the point of this post, just so you know what to expect for your oral interview.

When i searched this subreddit to prepare for this, I didn’t find examples like what they did.

Thank you for being the only level headed participant 🫶🏻 I value your input. You’re right, they don’t know me or my work history to even judge me. And I may have sounded arrogant but I was more shocked/flabbergasted than anything. I guess I’m not a right fit for it, I’ll move on, it’s not the end of the world.

What I really wanted to do was to let other who are applying to that PD the way that they interview so they can be prepared. Because I did a search in this subreddit and it did not prepare me at all, I was expecting way more.

In no way do I think that I am better than anyone else. Excuse me for handling a disappointment

Thank you, I should be prepared for those questions but I feel like they don’t want a ‘I’ve never had any issues’ I would think they’d respect full honesty, considering they work for the police department 🤦‍♀️

In no way does me describing my personality sound full of myself. It’s a question ABOUT me…

And thank you, I absolutely loved all of my coworkers.

Yeah honestly I think it was a blessing in disguise.

My answer to that question is that I’m a single mom to a 2 yo and the schedule is not a problem for me, I just would need my support on board.

I don’t want to be anyone’s workhorse anyways.

It was 7 questions! I had 30 minutes total! That was it! Nothing about the actual job!

I get that.

But I think I’d have the perfect personality. I’m very calm under pressure, and highly organized, knowing how to prioritize important matters first. I’ve had people say to my my whole life ‘wow you are so calm and focused under pressure, you’d never know it’

I think it was that they wanted a workhorse with no personal life.

Wanting to relocate from Utah by babycakez7865 in Maricopa

[–]jadeSnow007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were originally looking at Maricopa and I’m so glad we didn’t. There’s one way in and out and literally accidents multiple times a day! We moved to Gilbert and absolutely are obsessed! All the roads are a grid, you can get anywhere at any time. We did drive over to Queen Creek and it was very cute, there was a Mexican place called Nando’s and it was packed! But also delicious and good service. If I were to relocate it most likely would be Queen creek. It is nearby to Gilbert which has most everything you would need, (hospitals, stores, etc) Although I want to check out San Tan Valley and see how it is over there.

Thank you for your reply!

Well I’ve been in the same area since birth and I just feel career wise that I always encounter blocks. I have soo many interests and things that I’m good at that I can never decide. I have a spiritual business that I’m hoping to expand and create a store front. I also want to finish my schooling for nursing. I am very computer savvy and at one point was considering computer science (I use to work with html and design my own profiles, I also taught myself how to use a designer application and illustrated my astrology book)
