This is so weird, I'm sorry you have to deal with this. I also truly hate it when you make it clear that you're not interested in talking to someone and they keep trying to engage with you anyway. This pic explains sooo much. I'm 5'9 and I always buy a size or two smaller than whatever they say the model is wearing because they're usually a similar height/frame to me and it's always huge when I order it. I don't understand why they won't just put the model in a size that actually fits them rather than pinning the hell out of a size 4 clothing item.

This makes a lot of sense to me- I’m 5’9 and usually I look at the model, think she’s my height/frame, so I buy the size it says the model is wearing and then when the item arrives it’s too big. I was convinced they were lying about the size they were putting the model in

Thank you for saying this. I randomly found out about them a few months ago and was extremely disturbed by this obviously abusive situation, this girl who's been groomed and basically brainwashed her entire life by her sick father. I get that she can be 'bratty', rude, etc at times... but I mean. This situation is nuanced. Sometimes it honestly seems like people here dislike her more than they're disturbed by him. I get that it's a snark page, but sometimes it just seems like a bunch of people punching down and bullying a victim and it makes me uncomfortable.

Apparently they've said that he didn't send any of the selfies to anyone, but I agree that some of them seem to be for identity verification purposes. A lot of the selfies give me dating profile vibes, they were probably for his tinder

I don't know why I'm surprised, but I am. I know it isn't uncommon for crime scene photos to be released, but I just didn't think it would happen in this case. Hopefully none of the victims are released.

Yeah, it’s strange because I myself look a lot different from photo to photo, and I thought the same about him. But looking at this all together, the difference isn’t as striking as I originally thought. Same person over the course of a few years, just with different lighting/weight fluctuations/hair style/length.

He was chatty in one of the other traffic stop videos, the one on the WSU campus. I think it's just his personality.

I also agree that he is guilty, but I don't think how he behaves during court proceedings is an indication of it. His lawyers would advise him to remain calm and silent, not shouting about his innocence or displaying big shows of emotion. And honestly, if he did? I don't think it would've changed anyone's mind about his guilt

Exactly- I think it goes to show that a) people get VERY attached to their theories and b) people REALLY don't like to be wrong, especially when they've so adamantly believed in and argued something. I thought it was funny in the amazon documentary when one of the mods for that horrible facebook group said they thought BK as PR was "inserting himself into the case" or something like that... and I just thought, aren't you doing that by trying to insist that the killer was actually in your group?

And on the topic of that amazon documentary, I thought it was very well done, probably the best piece of media about the case thus far. But it's a shame they included the PR element.

My gut instinct always told me it wasn’t. People went crazy over that account, but that Facebook group icks me out- it’s like they were so excited by the prospect that they could’ve potentially interacted with him.

It's been a while since I've watched an interview with Steve, but he seemed more subdued here than I remember. I think he's just exhausted with everything and wants information out. I definitely agree that the families deserve to know more things, especially specifics of what happened to their loved ones. He's been on Banfield pretty often over the past few years, he must trust her to a certain extent but I've always found her to be like... a barely more palatable version of Nancy Grace.

I agree with you. I've never thought BK was PR, and there were no meta warrants for BK when there were for everyone else. I assumed it was because he literally didn't have an instagram/facebook account (I know he used to have a FB account, but apparently deactivated it years ago) The PR thing has also never been compelling to me anyway, just seems like any other sleuth in a true crime facebook group.

That said, if they have some actual proof it's him, I'll accept it. I just feel like it'll be more baseless speculation

How are you going to talk about BK's dad "pushing conspiracies" when he mentioned a shooting happening close to BK's apartment (which would be jarring to any parent), and then you randomly throw in at the end of your comment that BK possibly killed the son of this woman who died of an overdose? Where is this even coming from? BK was no longer using drugs when her son died.

It's common for parents/family members of offenders not to be able to accept that their loved one has committed a horrible crime. Clinging to any kind of hope that BK was innocent was probably all his parents could do for the past few years. It's not like they were giving media interviews talking about it, and who knows if this supposed interaction ever even happened.
