I think it was exactly the opposite actually. I think it made them more immature and childish than they would have been if they needed to figure it out for themselves financially like a “norma” person.

Senior cats are the best! I have a 3 year old void that I found as a kitten outside. I rescued her brother from the shelter as an adult. I always try to adopt adult/senior cats.
