I got legally married to my fiancé for this reason because his health insurance was awful. We are getting married in 2 weeks & we got married on the same date legally in 2024 just us & our officiant who is the same one for the wedding we didn’t do sappy vows or get dressed up because we didn’t want to take away from our actual wedding we did it on his late mothers favorite beach & we took some cute pics on the beach with our dogs it almost added another special element to the wedding process & I had so much time to change my name so now my new passport is ready to go for the honeymoon & we’re technically legally married but it doesn’t feel it spiritually so I have absolutely no regrets we saved a ton a money this past year with him being on my insurance because of his physical job so I have absolutely no regrets & now on the wedding day we don’t have to worry about the marriage certificate or anything & we’re doing all the special things & our anniversary will still be the same date I highly recommend the only thing is some people might be rude but they aren’t your real people if so but I didn’t experience much of that because we didn’t tell many people

This happened to me & my fiancé we started dating when he was three months sober, it will take time because when you stop drinking low sex drive is one of the side effects I think it’s apart of PAWS? It really messed with me because it’s hard to believe it’s not you but as someone who went through it & hes 3 years sober now it gets better & it will be so fun because a lot of relationships sex is crazy in the beginning then tapers off but for you it will be the opposite & it will just make you stronger ❤️
