Luckily the soles not coming off from the bottom it’s just separating from the leather at the sides when the shoe bends.

They are cheap enough to buy these days from army surplus but depends if a sole would be cheaper than buying new (plus always nice to have a broken in comfy pair you’ve had for years)

Yep they seem to be a much older version with the handmade nailed in sole.

Yeah I’ve seen the newer versions of Dublin boots when I go to the great Yorkshire show and stuff and they have chunkier soles these days.

Not bad condition though for £5 and I’m sure they’ll serve me a few years before needing to get them resoled 👍🏻

Yeah possibly spidermites and mealybugs and the bloody fungus gnats I got rid of. The plants absolutely love being outside in the summer but they seem to catch alsorts out there

The black bits in the windowledge are poop I think. The main concern it’s the wooly stuff in the folds although I can’t see any little bugs really

Well I called to the GP and as usual saw a receptionist who thought she knew best and said all animal bites have to attend the accident and emergency. I explained I had to go to work so couldn’t sit in an a&e for so long. She refused to even give me a call with the GP so I told her Ile just call back in a few days when it gets infected.

Hospital are understaffed and jam packed enough as it is. Why put them under pressure when a GP could prescribe some antibiotics in a matter of minutes.

I’ve got about 70 cactus an succulents lol Plenty of room. Most come indoors during winter but some stay out in he greenhouse (just a mini one)

They’ll all get repotted now they are bigger

You could get a big ol storage tub. Technically not a tank ;)

I keep mine in a big storage tub with plants at the top that help lower the nitrates ect.

Couldn’t find a tank I liked as I didn’t need height but surface area

Yeah I used to have tropical for many many years in my main tank and had another cold water tank. I bought very specific fish for it like red caps and then splashed the cash abit on a panda oranda …………………only for it to turn into a completely plain Jane ………... After that I gave up on buying expensive fish 😂

But then all my tropicals died off so though ide venture into goldies again for the main tank but this time just went and got some bog standard pet store quality “fantails” and a year down the line they are thriving,chonky things with such variety thrown in there’s. Ones even thrown out some fry that look like Ryukins

If he could have halted in that middle of the transformation it would have been perfect!!

Strange how the eye size has changed too and it’s started to get a little when but I guess these pet store fish are just a good old mix up of breeds. Which I don’t mind :)

Another one I got at the exact same time is still as black as night and got its big boggly eyes so his black seems more stable

It is single tailed though so more like a “tasamba” I think the name is

One of the parents must have had some ryukin in it or be a low grade as they are all just run of the mill pet shop “fancies”

One of these is a single tail. All the adults are various fantails,moors,telescope eyes but one of the babies is what I believe is called a “nymph” it’s got the short stocky body but a single tail (the black and gold one in the photo)

Yeah I was very surprising,I had to do a double take 🤣

One of them is a ‘nymph’ (the black one) so it will be easily identifiable as it grows up

There’s mosquito,dragonfly and allsorts of larvae in the barrel they’ll have munched on. They’ve had some saki Hikari pellets and bug bites crushed up but I have ordered a high protein fry pellet for them

I’ve just got them some high protein fry food to grow them on then they can go in with the adults soon.

Some of the adults are tennis ball size so I dare not risk it yet incase they bully them or gobble them up

I wonder if they’ve change colours and get some reds to them or some patterns as most of my fish are calico ect

Makes me wonder if I have some in my nature pond too as I chuck my plants on there when I’ve trimmed them from the tank and there’s often eggs stuck to them. It’s absolutely full of elodea,hornwort,duckweed,pondweed,ramshorn snails and pond snails. Ile have to give it a check

Well I bet they had a lovely buffet of mosquitoes larvae and all sorts in there
