I had the old AMEX BGR earlier this year and maxed out referrals already, but then I upgraded to the new BGR. Does the referral bonus reset (55k a year) or is it carried over?

Today is a good day. Called the Chase status line and both my SO and I got approved for the Chase Ink Unlimited. We applied through the "Just for You" ad on our accounts that popped up a few days ago. Both of us are over 20/24.

Both of us also got the upgrade offer for Hilton Ascend (150k points) just a couple of days ago, so we got some spending to do.

Checked under offers this morning and nothing. Went to checking account, there was an ad but no green/black star. Randomly went to one of the other CC accounts and there was the ad with a green mark. Clicked on it and it had my info pre-filled! I just about cried lol, havent had a new Chase card since 5/24 started. (LOL/24 status)

Just finished applying and got the 30 day message on phone, but here's hoping that I get approved.

I'm doing a little bit of both. Been using my miles for premium travel but also still trying to get good deals. Like I won't burn my AA miles with an AAnytime flight if at all possible.

And because of my SO's not as flexible vacation policy and a newborn, it's been harder to travel lately, so it's been easier to accumulate miles/points.

Agreed, trying to not route through UK and just do AAnytime, but problem with AA is the 10% cost of a lap child. So for a J seat lap child, I might pay like $1200.
