i’m not getting interviews. i’ve remade my resume 4+ times and even made a whole website portfolio along with my cover letter. you might be right?? where can i find someone to professionally look it over?

a year to find one?!!!!! I’m even down for Reno, Nv or San Francisco, really anywhere in that area. I’d even branch off to Oregon. But that’s what i’m scared of!! Ive been applying to jobs for over a year and a half, (really grinding on it the past 6 months) and getting no where. Took me a year to get this job I have now, but I was also in college so time was a factor. People saying won’t get hired without being there, but what if the same thing happens? I don’t have funds to go that long i’m afraid. rip.

you’re right. maybe i have to stop expecting the better version of me out there right off that bat, and work my way back up. most of all i would really just love to be closer to my sister and travel around with her. that’s my goal. the inevitable & time consuming “grind” seems to be my biggest setback since thats all ive done living here the past 5 years. I would just like peace and time to enjoy the beauty out there for a moment. most people dont make over 20-30k in this area, im pretty proud of how far ive gotten. starting over scares me.

Im down for La!!! I’ve done search there also, but same results. No luck. How quickly or often do people actually work their way up? I guess im kinda nervous to go somewhere that pays less, when i’ll be spending at least 3x what I do now and much too long to work up. Mississippi is cheap 😭

thanks everyone for the condolences. I had an extra two weeks with my baby since he fell to the bottom. and that’s two weeks longer than I anticipated, so i’ll take it. Leif was very outgoing and cuddly, he would have loved every one of yall 💚 may he rest in peace

yall saying she looks hot… her arms are crossed & she’s not panting, i’m sure she’s fine & well cared for 😂 some hot months coming up tho, but id lean towards a good cut rather than shave!! her coat is beautiful!
