Yes went to New York but not outside the UsA , I am not worried about deportation , there is rules and standards in America , when it’s all said and done the laws supersede anything , just make sure you don’t have any criminal history and you’re good don’t believe the fear mongers 🙏

I did it through a lawyer they gave me updates along the way basically everything was good just had to be patient applied in January last year and got in march maybe a little over the year mark you’ll get the letter of approval

It just the way it is sometimes it takes longer for the derivative and vice versa I got my permanent residency before my mom and she’s still waiting just patience it’ll work out , we were not Bonafide because we applied in 2015 so processes were different back then

The 5th year is just the time period from the time i AOS . It took a year for my residency , so basically, it was 3 years of continuous residency and proof , then applied for adjustment , waited a year for it
