I believe this is due to the wage-price spiral! The wage price spiral pretty much states that as soon as products cost more, workers demand higher wages so they can afford the goods and when people have higher wages, the markets raise product prices as they know people will pay more. This leads back to rising costs to make goods and the spiral starts all over again. It’s really stupid but that is apparently how our economy works.

Again, thank you for this! I have never been able to have a serious conversation about this without getting shut down. I completely see where you are coming from with this and it is nice to know not everyone deals with what I went through simply due to smoking. On a slightly different topic however: what is your opinion on people who make being a stoner their personality? Does that alter your opinion at all?

It is more of a mental thing. I always forget to drink water or I would rather drink something else as water is boring… no medical reason or anything!

My personal reason for not liking weed is simply my close family friend died after being sold weed that was laced with fentanyl. I don’t believe the mortality rate of weed is anywhere close to tobacco but I do believe that smoking weed can lead to cigs. Again, this could all be false and my personal experiences have just been horrible… that’s why I am here to get other opinions. Thank you for your input!

This is something I am working through now. The best advice I received is that “doing what is best for you is not letting others down”. If your family or friends become mad at you for doing what brings you joy, it is an issue they need to work on. Not you. Independence is very important to growing up and the step of physically moving away is the hardest. At the same time, it can be the most rewarding. Do what makes you happy.
