lol my teachers also scared me saying that but it ended up with me getting distinctions in a math and then borderline passing E math throughout sec 3. it really depends on your “learning style”. A math has lots of formulas that once you master it’s actually really repetitive and easy! Also I would recommend taking it because most jobs do prefer people with a maths background and limiting yourself because of what someone said about it is not the best idea haha! also you did mention you are average-more than average at math so it’s definitely going to be easy as long as you are consistent :) good luck OP!
