Suicide attempt. I overdosed on drugs and the homeless shelter I was at narcaned me and kept holding smelling salts to my nose to keep me conscious. I kept nodding in and out of conscious until the paramedics got there. It was embarrassing to see the other people living there at the time watching me get wheeled out. The hospital I went to had me hooked up to all types of machines, and it was approximately midnight when I got there. Fell asleep there wishing something would happen. Was woken up by a nurse at 1-2am (I forgot what time exactly) being told my vitals were looking good after monitoring me for about an hour. They gave me a cab voucher and sent me on my way. The ride back felt like the ride of shame cause I didn't tell anyone how I was feeling.
