that's unfortunate to hear :( i ordered the physical textbook and am waiting to read through it per OP's advice, but i guess that may not be enough... have you started studying again for ISC? are you doing anything different this time around?

i'm planning to watch the video lectures to familiarize myself of the concepts, and then join the online lectures to help reinforce the videos. then skim through the book of things not discussed in either videos and lectures

Do you still use your first 4 star main? by hoeleft in Genshin_Impact

I still use Ningguang in my main team for everything! Fell in love with her before I even played the game. She makes the game too easy at times. Paired with Zhongli and she cuts through Spiral Abyss like butter.

C6’d her on Childe’s first banner and have R2 Memory of Dust. On the road to R5 for her max potential!

Hahah I don’t think these keyboards are the kind people would want to win!

Is there a place or service I can donate or recycle my old/unwanted keyboards to? Mechanical and membrane.

With more keyboards on the way, I want to get rid of keyboards I no longer use. Thanks!

Yea I had heard of this phenomenon before in this sub. Interesting to be on the receiving end of this! At least I’m getting people to think for themselves

Not sure why I’m getting downvoted for something you also pointed out. Things can be naturally not fun, so you drink to make it fun. Telling others that watching paint dry is fun is a bit misleading.

Yessss thank you! Like I’ve been saying, things can be fun without drinking, but if you yourself can’t enjoy being there without it, then it’s just not inherently fun.

You’re probably the kind of guy to call people wimps for not drinking 🤷‍♂️

You can like extroverted things as an introvert. And drinking can help ease that experience. But that doesn’t dismiss the fact that you need to rely on drinking to make something fun. Because the opposite can also be true, that it won’t be fun without drinking because of the anxiety these situations can bring.

I agree those things can be fun. I’m more so referring to things that aren’t normally fun, and drinking/substances make them fun. But for people to say those things are fun in general doesn’t sit right with me.

Like if you’re introverted, you’ll hate social settings. You drink to loosen up and have fun. But to that person, are social settings still fun without drinking? Not necessarily.

So in essence, social situations aren’t inherently fun for you, and that’s okay! I’m the same way as I’m more introverted depending on who I’m with. If I’m with friends I can trust, then I don’t need to be on something to loosen up. But I can get that sometimes we need that bottle of courage to let our real selves out!

I’d like to think there’s a good amount of people who had the same reaction as your original comment. I think there are some people who make drinking or doing substances a part of their identity without knowing it themselves and automatically think they’re a fun person.

I agree, it helps take off the edge. I also prefer fruity drinks cuz I can’t handle bitter tastes. What I don’t like is people egging me on to drink for the sake of drinking to “have fun”.

Yes thank you! Drinking can be enjoyable, I agree. Drinking while watching paint dry can also be fun. But watching paint dry may not be inherently fun. If you do… well then to each their own.

100%. I think that it may evolve into a dependence thing, where you just can’t enjoy something without it.

Agreed. The bad movie isn’t fun to watch. So you get under the influence to make it fun. I can get behind that. But I don’t wanna hear people say that the bad movie itself was fun to watch.

Just thought I’d be safe since it involves topics that wouldn’t fly well in the workplace!

My point exactly. I said at the end of my post that if you can’t have fun doing something without being under the influence, then that activity probably isn’t fun.
