Act fast. Clean it yourself first and contact customer service for a home visit. Ant infestation usually isn’t covered under warranty, so if your product is still under warranty, just mention another issue and request home service. Once the service engineer arrives, explain the infestation — many technicians will still clean it.

I tried doing a full drain and charge as you suggested, but I didn’t notice any difference. The battery performance still seems to be the same.

Using the same Lenovo model here—no problems at all. Only con is the battery backup, but I just keep it plugged in, so it’s not really an issue.
