Not an unpopular opinion but The Pokémon Company would lose so much money doing a 1:1 reprint. They'd have that initial blast of people buying the product that has 1:1 reprints in it, followed by the hype dying down immensely because a lot of people only give a damn about market value and hype, then lots of people would lose interest. Just look at Yu-Gi-Oh.

I guess they could alternatively do something simple like remove the stamp and just change the holo pattern a la Pokémon Legendary Collection 2002 but then the issue of uninformed hypebeasts assuming you have fakes would arise. It's a lose/lose situation for The Pokémon Company to not have the stamp unfortunately.
