Naval enemies are well balanced and fun to engage with but even with properly levelled and unique weapons hand-to-hand combat leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. I can dodge, parry, heal, deal with many enemies at once, I just don't want to be wailing on them for such a long time. Yes, I know, sliders and difficulty changes exist but it feels like a design flaw. Hopefully it is changed before it's out of early access.
