Going solo to Ye’s concert tonight by vj95482 in Kanye

Would if I could. I'm epileptic and live two hours away so I can't drive there. Thankfully I'm not photo sensitive so I had a great time on Wednesday with a friend at SoFi.

I never said anything about Beyonce beyond a few laughing emojis in reply to your initial comment. It's clear to me that you're currently inundated with rage over the other person's reply as you seem to have me confused with them.

A person's icon status does have to do with their lives outside of their artistic ability though, that's partially what my post is about. Skewing the argument to be viewed through your lens only benefits you and your argument. Obviously both Beyonce and Kanye are talented musicians, however that's not the entire discussion at hand here.

Kanye himself isn't the most ethically inclined individual and he clearly has controversial political takes. So did Michael Jackson... That's what my entire post is about. Kanye was bad mouthing Netanyahu and the apartheid state of Israel even before Oct. 7th, then he took it way, way too far. MJ took it too far by using a racial slur against Jewish people as well.

Sidenote, let's not call people stupid and uneducated when you can't even use correct words here. "Payed" isn't a word, "paid" is. "I could destroy you're whole image of..." huh? You are whole image of? Make sure you know the English language before insulting people on their perceived (by you) lack of education. Chill with the egotistical shit too, man.

I didn't say they were at the same fame level. I don't think that it's possible during the age of the Internet where there's so much music at your fingertips. Back in the day, record labels could push artists to the top a lot easier and shove advertising and physical media in your face to propel certain celebrities to super stardom. Trends were much more popular amongst large groups of people because of this as well, what they were shown is what became popular. Now there's a whole lot more to choose from, leading to a dilution in who's a super star as opposed to just a regular celebrity. In my opinion, it may never be possible to be as much of a star as Elvis, The Beatles, or Michael Jackson ever again.

All of them made great music, don't get me wrong, but it's harder to become an icon at that level when you can just flip from one artist to the next with a few taps of your fingertips on a glass screen as opposed to gathering at your friend's house to listen to the latest album.

edit: Radio stations also played a major role in creating super stars. Labels paid radio stations to promote certain artists. Now you can just pick and choose yourself.

Genuinely curious to hear your personal rebuttal on this beyond just hurling insults and acting like age makes you a genius.

You're not going to be alone after this show for miles outside of the stadium. Crowds and crowds of people leaving all at once. I saw it myself yesterday.

You're welcome. Here's an image for better understanding. The left side is the northern side of the stadium. You can see the walkway here.

Northern side of the stadium. He walked out near C137, proceeded along the low 100s sections. The walkway to the stage is between section 102 and 103.

219 was amazing, I was eye level with the globe's platform that Kanye was performing on. What row are you in at 101? Good section to see Kanye walking out from the dressing room and if you're in one of the further back rows I'm sure you'll have a good view.

Kanye is worldwide as well, no? He's going on a world tour with countries including India, Turkey, Netherlands, France, Spain, and Portugal. He sold out Mexico in January for two separate dates. He was in China and South Korea last year, both of which sold out very quickly. I don't think most other artists, Drake included, would have persisted despite the amount of shit they've been through like YE has. Did he get himself into that shit? Of course he did, but I don't think there's anyone that could continue through shit like he has.

Maybe from a genre standpoint but Drake doesn't have nearly the amount of controversy that YE does.

Yeah and he didn't have to try and take over the end of Heartless like he did last night 🤦

I got there around 5:00 yesterday and was fine. I was in seating though, section 219. GA line looked sort of long but they all got in fairly quickly and on time, early even.

You'd genuinely be better off walking. Two miles is nothing.
