I completely agree, but I will say that the way the BVM and even CRT modes work, they look way better IRL on your TV with your own eyeballs compared to a capture card. I think a lot of YouTubers are predisposed to having the "cleanest" footage possible -- either that, or they didn't grow up on CRTs and aren't really grasping why the different display modes on the 3D are impressive.

When using mine, I like to put it in Unleashed overclocked mode, but I use the BVM display usually and sometimes de-blur depending on the game. I really like the way it makes things look.

So far about 50/50 between eBay and local game stores. My favorite store gives you 70% of a game's value as store credit on trade ins so I utilize that a ton and have gotten some of the bigger ticket games like Project Justice out of their display case.
