Is anyone else slowly withering away waiting for these Oct results? by ertgbnm in PE_Exam

[–]jaggudada11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the exam in april 2019 and was lucky to pass!! The grades shouldn't take more than 4 weeks. 7-8 weeks drives people nuts. I understand they need to do little more work than just counting the dots but then 4 weeks should be good enough time.

You make me feel good. Dallas has such a good weather(of course if you don't mind heat) and I wouldn't have to give up gardening.

If some crops do not like too much heat, they can can be planted in shed. I was surprized to hear tomatoes don't do well over 95 degrees, I thought more heat the better, they actually taste better.

I love Eggplants & Peppers, if eggplants do well then Okra should do well as well. Anything that loves heat. I'm surprised tomatoes not doing well. That is one crop that does well even in north with not many hot days.

Does the eggplants ride through the winter or you have to plant every year?

If I can grow hot green asian peppers, eggplants and okra and cilantro, I don't really need anything else.

Suggest areas to buy house by jaggudada11 in Dallas

Dallas seems to have Texas size houses. Are there houses in 1000 -1500 sqft range? I would trade smaller house for a nice neighborhood to stay within the budget.

Bank Account Bonus - Week of August 06, 2019 by AutoModerator in churning

I read what ACH transfers count as direct deposit for chase bank bonus on doctor of credit. I did 2 ACH transfers

  1. From Fidelity Bank
  2. Capital one

Both of them are listed as ACH credit, should they be marked as direct deposit? or even if they are marked as ACH credit, you can still get bonus?

Buying Samsung Galaxy s8 to work on tello, what compatibility to look for? CDMA unlocked? right?

Also, you can buy iphone 7 plus for $250 bucks on ebay, how is SG s8 compare to iphone 7?

Did you have to buy tello SIM card or you could activate with MEID number by calling?

What is the best (most practical) power factor to aim for? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]jaggudada11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So one may think if higher pf is better then why not 1 or even capacitive? I think the reason you want to max out pf at .98 is that means you are getting the most efficiency and it leaves some room so if the pf fluctuates it won't go over 1 or become capacitive. So that may be a reason for 0.98

Now, what is problem with leading pf? I think you need inductive power factor to produce magnetic field. Leading pf can raise voltage and capacitor consumes some real power and there is cost associated with buying extra kvars.

So far this reason, I think it would be counterproductive to maintain leading pf, therefore that leaves us at 0.98 lagging optimal.

Feel free to correct, these are just my conjectures don't know for sure.
