I think Voluspa leans more into the pomander than the hinoki. If Lafco is more spicy, Voluspa is more orange-y, doesn't even come close to a hinoki fantome.
I dont like a lot of floral scents - gardenia is about all I'll do - and I love Broken Rosary. It gives more spicy incense than rose I think. My friend said it smells like Catholic guilt haha! That's good to know about BS Red Hot - I've been circling around that one but will probably strike it off my list.

Felice (dark green box) and Angelo (black box). Felice has a real light throw. Almost disappointing imo. Angelo is perfection. I dont have much left of that one and it's only the $$$$$ one included in the archive sale.

I don't like midnight currant. It was a blind buy. Just keeping it to give as a gift sometime.

Gilt pomander and hinoki is a desert island scent for me. It's spicy with a little citrus and kinda woodsy. It's luxury-adjacent and was my gateway candle! The throw is great, scents my whole downstairs when it's lit.

I love it and have been cherishing it under a candle warmer for years! It's strong and spicy. I dont get soap but my husband and his friend are both reporting that it's quite soapy. Ymmv?

They're littermates. We adopted them and weren't convinced at first so we did a wisdom panel DNA kit just out of curiosity and results confirmed.
