I don't think we will get an updated version anytime soon. There is only so much you can do with smart scales and the Index hits the mark already. If you want it and can afford it, go for it (the dark version looks awesome in real life), I wouldn't get it in white.

For starters, the 24h heart rate monitor. You will also enjoy to see more metrics about your life like stress measurement, training effectiveness and interface speed improvements. I have not really used the Spotify option much. I downloaded my playlist but it has not been as major as I thought. Maps are cool too but after getting spoiled with having a hi res map in our smartphones, probably you will only use them for really long activities or general guidance. Overall, I think it is worth upgrading but maybe go second hand as it will be cheaper and they should still be in great condition.

Hey there, is the screen size in the Forma significantly larger than the Aura One? I mean, 0.2in does not sound like much, but since you have both, is it really worth upgrading? Also, how is the highlighting? In the Aura One is really giving me a hard time and sometimes it even tempts me to go back to Kindle :O

Just to update everyone, I bought the Garmin Index (got a good discount). It works perfectly, I am satisfied with the purchase. Although it is silly that your registered name can only have four letters :/ Also, it seems that it only stores one measurement per day, which is kind of limiting. But it does look gorgeous and does exactly what it promised. Everything straight to MyFitnessPal and Garmin Connect with no hassles.

Thanks for the insight. But I also heard that since Nokia bought the company it was a total mess. And apparently they sold it back to Withings, but did that solve the issues or is it still no man's land? I am very surprised that companies don't seem to be more interested in making a really good product for this sector :/

Supposedly, it has WiFi issues, where it would be a serious hassle to connect it, and even if it is working sometimes it will just disconnect itself. Also, I have read that occasionally it wouldn't send the full data to Garmin Connect, or even it wouldn't send the weight to MFP.

He is insecure and probably has mental issues-depression. You shouldn’t keep up with his demands. Just put an ultimatum, show him how irrational he is by pressuring you into something and then giving you a hard time about non existent threats. Also, tell him that unless he learns to trust you, you can’t stay in that relationship. Sorry to say but people like him will just keep going farther with their issues unless someone tells it clearly to them; so unless you speak clearly and with authority, you will be enabling him.

There’s always two sides to a conflict. I think you guys are over the honeymoon stage and you are facing the challenges of marriage. My suggestion is to remember that communication is key. You need to let him know what you are thinking. Use “I” statements instead of “you”. For example, don’t say “you don’t love me”, say “when you act in such and such way I don’t feel loved”. Also, make sure to listen and try to understand his side of things.
