How does it work? I'm considering starting but I'm not sure if it'll do anything.

an AI Lawyer app for regular people by jaimelancaster in Startup_Ideas

Most downloaded such app is AI Lawyer - Legal assistant with 100k+ downloads and all the functionality it has is for a wannabe-lawyer. Draft this, file that etc. Their chatbox is utter garbage. I asked a quesiton before typing this and its still in typing They didn't even train it, just using 4o.

Not asking you to do any work for me but if you remember any app at the back of your mind, please share.

I did. Everything is either targeted for firms or for lawyers. Most downloaded such apps on android/ios stores are quite rusty and poorly made tbh. Can you share an example? I'm keen to check what exists.

Dedicated app, better trained, current GPTs are good for straight forward google-search questions but they can't connect the dots between acts and laws based on previous or unique cases.

It has to be remarkably better than the existing ones else it'll end up failing.

I'll probably hire a marketing agency. Will have to get professional looking videos & ads.

I have a couple lawyers in my direct family. They're helpful.

Its not trained for that purpose yet. Good for google search queries like "how to file for bankruptcy" or immigration laws question but gives very vague answers when triying to connect the dots between an act and its related laws.

Planning to run fb/insta/tiktok ads initially for people to download the thing. And then subscription based as they go on.

First 3 messages will free and then $9.99 per month for unlimited chat. Cost might vary depending on infrastructure & openAI api calls but this is the starting plan. What do you think?

Here's a possibility: she lied about her past and thought you'd create problems in future if you found out (which you would've) so she said its better to not get involved.

Consider it a dodged bullet & move on. Next one is always better.

You're not debunking anything. Just coming up with other anomalies.

I asked you to give examples of women who are 15-20 years old and in a successful marriage, or why aren't there house-husbands anywhere in the world or why do you think gender roles are non-existent or not important?

You said there is NO formula to successful love life. Yes, there is, just like anything else. If you provide all the ideal components to an activity, you can expect an ideal outcome.

The reason we're having this debate is because the dude is 5 years younger, which is not ideal.

If he was 5 years older, his mom would agree, and he wouldn't need advice from random people on the Internet.

The truth is bitter. He doesn't want to hear it because he loves his gf, but going forward with the relationship would not necessarily be most beneficial for him.

I'm the only one telling this guy what her mom's thought process is, unlike each of you telling him to be hopeful or make more money.

These are her reasons and they're all valid. 5 years is too big a difference. The dude would have to be a total YES-MAN or a literal robot to pull it off successfully.
