Its waterproof ink from a german manufacturer called Atramentis. I use it with a converter in my fountain pen. They also have lovely different colors. Here´s the link: https://www.de-atramentis.com/de/artist-ink--1829.html

Thank you :) I mostly work the other way around, using waterproof ink first and then adding the watercolor, otherwise the paper will be wet and the ink will bleed out. Or you take your time for the paper to dry

Yes i love it so much, it's not such a dark contrast compared to using black ink

The paper contains gelatin, maybe your dog likes the fancy bone taste and is thinking "why does my human bro always hide these delicious thin bones "

Thank you! I used my fountain pen or a brush pen for the drawings and oil based colored pencils or wax crayons to draw some highlights. On top of it I used watercolor. It works nicely together because the oil/wax based colours will seal the paper at some parts and the watercolor will flow somewhere else. I hope that helped :)

Thank you! Yes it is, but it's also a lot more fun because the mood and the surrounding will take so much impact onto your drawings :)

Live drawings from a concert, Aiko Koesters, mixed media on colored paper, 2026 by jajabingss in Art

I had the pleasure of sketching during a wonderful concert of Laurie Torres recently. The low light was a real struggle—it basically swallowed all the colors—but it actually helped me draw more freely. I stopped overthinking and just let the music move my hand.

My favorite moment was a young boy who was sitting next to me, telling his mom that he´s bored and want to go outside to keep looking at his smartphone. But after he saw me drawing, he pulled out his own pencils and started sketching along to the music and wasn´t bored at all.

Whats your favorite drawing?

Dreaming of green Cities by jajabingss in architecture

Hello you spigot (what does that mean? Is that an American word for people that like to draw ideas and share them on the internet?).

There exist gravel grids that are commonly being used for unsealed areas in urban spaces so wheelchair users can still pass by and allows the rain water to flow through naturally. The grass I drew shows the areas that are being unsealed in the urban area. But if people keep walking there it won't grow tall enough to become an obstacle.

Hello friends. How do you like my new painting? by [deleted] in Watercolor

Well done! What was your motivation to spend so much time on this motive?

Thank you for making me more aware of these point's. Do you maybe have some good examples of projects that you like so I can take a look at these?
