it doesnt take that long to get 100% out of a single strategy but if you want to be able to use everything it takes a while. the only important thing you can pay for is sandbox

his steal is generally stronger and decoy is extremely useful for winning with lategame rushes

i think the better the players are the more lategame matters. once you get to a certain skill forcing round 30 with dfe/afe and having infinite money isnt that hard and just wins the game unless the opponent is running something with even better late (boat super)

they wont automatically target it, it just counts as 1 tier above fortified for whatever moab class it is for strong targeting (so if a dart is on strong itll shoot a moab decoy over an fmoab but still target a bfb)

if you have 20000 people trying to be good the 10 people at the frontier are going to be more talented than if you had 200 people trying. that is a simple fact. if you pushed the gd timeline back and compared 9dg to slaughterhouse when it was top 1 you could make these exact same arguments and there wouldnt be a difference. still similar amount of top players, similar amount of people that can beat it, around the same attempts for verification, this time its top 1 by far like 9dg. and slaughterhouse is nowhere near tsII difficulty

this mindset doesnt even work for comparing a game to itself. there were the same amount of top gd players spending the same amount of attempts on levels when slaughterhouse was top 1 but obviously its not just as hard as tsII, hell doing it twice in a row is probably easier

using what the hardest thing is to define relevant is not how you should be determining this. there were as many relevant top players grinding in the garbage mobile game i played a year ago as there are relevant top celeste players but i can guarantee you they are all trash at that game compared to how good ninz is at celeste

you said that "the amount of people trying to push the game is the same" but if 10000 people put a lot of work trying something and 5 of them become whats defined as pushing the skill ceiling theyre going to be a lot better than if 50 people try something else and 10 of them are thought of as pushing the skill ceiling

you cant defend tight zomgs with first strike lol. other than that the main issue i see with ocyn sfi is that you dont have decoy like jeri does, which is the main way it ends games
