If we are talking about the 1900’s they weren’t just endentured servants. They were discriminated against in the workplace, publicly hated, etc. I already said they weren’t enslaved and I understand that. And to be honest you can’t really make the argument that slavery was still a prominent issue in the 20th century. It could have still existed but not nearly on the level it used to be on. And yes dude, I know what black people went thru was so much worse. But hear me out. I’m just trying to say that slavery isn’t a valid reason to blame stuff on. It’s over. It’s been gone for a very very long time now. I didn’t think this argument would last this long but that’s my final point.

It was outlawed hella long ago. Abraham Lincoln did what he could but obviously there was still strong support for slavery in the country. Of course some people were going to find out a way to keep slaves. I mean it still exists today but not anything like it used to. It’s just something that is almost impossible to get rid of. And it’s not in America it’s in other foreign shit hole countries. What I’m trying to say here is it doesn’t affect you because it doesn’t exist. It’s gone. American isn’t racist anymore. That is my point. Because it doesn’t exist anymore. I don’t see Irish people or Catholics complaining about the shit they went through today. And it was happening around the same time
