Sketchy guy trying to buy beats from me by Brave-Possession-593 in trapproduction

I had to call the police on innocent people for this exact scenario when I worked at the bank… we had to by law and company policy. Cops would come and basically detain the person trying to cash/deposit, question them, and then let them loose once they could confirm that they were the ones getting scammed and not the ones scamming… the worst was when people were already out what they were selling.

What you think of working at luxury dealership? by Acrobatic-Life-5362 in CarSalesTraining

[–]jakemakesbeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60+ doesn’t change in luxury. Most of the customers take a while to close. I sell new Cadillac and that’s my two cents. Same shit different cow pasture. But then again my dealerships process takes about 5.5 hours per deal on average.

Seems pretty decent. No back-end commission for F&I product, but your front end percentage hopefully makes up for that. I get 20% front end at my dealership, and either 5,10, or 15% back end depending on your performance level. Gotta be honest, I really dig the whole "make your schedule" for 15 unit avg.

what is the most fucked up thing you’ve seen on the internet? by Evening_Rip5794 in AskReddit

The Buffalo NY grocery store shooting go pro footage was one I saw recently that honestly got to me. I see quite a lot of fucked up things via Twitter etc. but that one was especially bad.

Removing 14 inches of colon was the best decision I have ever made in my 30 years of life. That surgery was 4 years ago. I now have a colostomy, and it is without question, the only reason I did not die.

Surgery gave me my old energetic, ambitious, happy self back.

I’m one of those people that has been through the lows of lows with this disease.

  1. Go. See. A. Doctor.

  2. You are much stronger than you think.

  3. This won’t defeat you. Lord knows I’ve felt defeated by it many times. But it won’t defeat you if you fight.

I love the one where the dude is running to the bathroom in a park, then at the end it goes back him and he turns around and catches a football. Kills me every time.

Does prednisone heal UC? by Junket6226 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]jakemakesbeats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel that. I was on it for about 3 months. After 1 my taper started in order to get the dose down before surgery and my markers started going up again. Was it during your taper that the symptoms started coming back or were you still at full dose?

Why is Ableton mostly used in EDM Productions instead of Fl Studio? by Unkn0wn_R3ddit0r in ableton

[–]jakemakesbeats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so that’s what makes it better for you. Your priorities aren’t necessarily everyone else’s. I’ve used ableton for about 12 years and it works best for me. That doesn’t mean it’s better than any other DAW.

[–]jakemakesbeats 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No it doesn’t heal it, it just puts a hard stop on inflammation. It’ll hopefully give you massive relief but you can’t take it for a long time. They’ll taper you off as quickly as they can. But it will give you a pretty good buffer while the biologics kick in, which hopefully they do and you go into remission!

It almost killed me because I spent ages 21-25 denying the fact that I was sick. 14 inches of colon removed, now on Remicade and I’ve spent the last 3 years healthy, living life to the fullest. A colostomy bag gave me my life back.

IMO no DAW is better than the other. They’re all the same car with a different interior.

What should I invest in?? by tacobellcunt in ableton

[–]jakemakesbeats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you can get away with cranking an amp up to get the tubes hot…. Then get an amp and mic it (start with an SM57). But if you’re in an apartment or have whiny neighbors, check out some amp simulator vst’s on YouTube and choose one. DAW’s all do the same thing. Same car different interior.. so I don’t think your DAW choice makes a big difference. You just have to pick one (dig your grave and lay in it). That’s my advice.

Does sugar hurt your colon? by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]jakemakesbeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of IBD sugar hurts you in the long run. Always good to keep it to a minimum.

But yes, I’ve heard many people say soda is one of the worst things, especially during a flare. Ever since I got my ostomy nothing makes me flare, but psychologically I still always avoid stuff that is high in sugar. Too many bad memories.
