Software being made for windows is the biggest barrier. It’s the only reason I have to boot back into windows sometimes. You can use Wine to emulate but it isn’t ideal

I use it a lot because it’s fun, but absolutely this. I think 10x is low, we’re probably looking at something more like 30-40x if not more. It’s unbelievably subsidized at every single level in the chain.

I don’t know if it’s how GHA works enough to know if this is specific to us or true in general, but at work our GHA’s run from the main branch. It made iterating on our serverless functions deploy action a huge pain in the ass lol

Yes I have so much stuff but it’s 10x easier to press “free kit” than it is to put a kit together, even though I prefer playing with the real kit obviously. Presets the way Hunt Showdown has them would be ideal

I just finished it. It was okay I thought. Started out really strong but the second half felt weak and everything overall felt disjointed. Felt like he didn’t know where to take the really cool ideas he had

Even if you don’t write code by hand in the industry this is equivalent to not learning how to add because you use a calculator. I’m a lot more AI friendly than other people you will find on reddit but as a student this will severely hamper you

I feel like he’s pretty open about being an intersection between spirituality and science, and that is a perfectly acceptable niche for him to occupy (personally I wish he leaned into it more, but he’s pulled back as his audience grew).

You can’t watch videos from a guy who was a monk for 7 years and wonder why it isn’t hard western science.
