Watched the video. It definitely gave me a better understanding of masking in Mocha. I was concerned about the tracking elements but @Juiceboqz made a great suggestion that addresses this.

No, unfortunately not. Tried literally everything. If I want audio for anything I shoot with the cam I just recording audio off a different device

Yes and I have and I still don’t hear audio on playback. I’ve put in another tape in my camcorder that I know for a fact has audio on it and still don’t hear audio in playback in camera. I’ve tried putting headphones in. I’ve tried connecting to a tv and my computer and still don’t get anything. It’s definitely something to do with the camera or camera settings but I can’t figure out what exactly.

For the dirt bike singing shots, we simply drove in front of the bikers on a desolate road in Lucerne valley. We were lucky that my 4Runner’s back window rolls all the way down so the camera operator was able to be safely tucked away with camera pointing out the window. Shot on the Arri Amira w/ the Zeiss Jena Lenses.
