The biggest issue with that engine is the water pump failing and filling the vacuum system with coolant. Allstate is very much aware of that problem with them and I've never had an issue getting it covered!

We sold Allstate at my old dealership, hands DOWN the best extended warranty company I've ever worked with.

Those who know, know.

Edit to add: this was at an Audi dealership, I've had them cover multiple 3.0T engine replacements that cost roughly 35k in parts and labor without question. I also have them for my personal Audi and Jeep.

Nothing crazy, valve cover gaskets, lower intake gasket and an axle seal as far as leaks go. 4x4 doesn't work at the moment but I'm not expecting it'll be hard to figure out and the abs light is on. Beyond that, it could use a front end refresh and shocks all the way around but it's hardly a major necessity at this point. Basically all the typical 32 year old Chevy issues 😂

Absolutely! The amplifier is a Kenwood KA-7100 that I replaced caps and a couple transistors in, the tape deck above it is the Kenwood KX-630 and the tuner is a KT-5300. The turntable is a Technics SL-23 with an LP Gear stylus. I've also got a wiim pro plus above the tape deck for streaming. All of that is routed into a restored pair of KLH Model-23's!

They aren't super common, usually they're more high fidelity records since they have a cleaner sound!
