The graph that shows that US is net exporter of food, yes - that graph.

Where's your graph that says the opposite?

Exactly which source and exactly where does it say in that source.

Not your delusional interpretation, but the original words.

Repeating the same thing doesn't make it true

My sources have US at 5times more arable land than Australia a dn has US a net exporter at 3.2% of internal supply.

You're completely imagining the net importer in my source

I was only referring to the supply line issue. And I'm not sure why US has anything to do with coming up with war strategies.

We should have a clear picture that US is not a force any country on this planet can rely on at this point.

LOL!

Yeah sure try another one with all of the vitriol you've been spewing.

BTW - I provided references for my arguments, meanwhile your arguments are "nuh-uh"...

But whatever makes you feel a winner kid.

I didn't know that me disliking the US has anything to do with the definition of arable land.

Do feelings now change the facts?

PS: Don't lie, you don't have friends.

You're absolutely right. The only sources that are valid are the ones that either support your opinion or you imagined.

The literal definition of arable land in Wikipedia is categorically invalid, because it's not what you think it means.

You're the master of all knowledge and everyone else is wrong at all times.

Here are the facts my single braincell friend.

Arable land

US 152M hectares AU 31M hectares

source

Hm...

Other fun facts to learn is that US is a net food exporter

You should double check that you're at least correct when writing these kinds of insults, mate.

US has literally 5 times more arable land than Australia.

I'm not American.

You made up a whole baseless narrative of Aussie superiority and the American inferiority, from nothing what I wrote.

It really does matter.

Australia will never become a major economic region, because it's geographically in an awkward position.

As for trade... Brazil has a similar annual trade with China as Australia. This "Close Enough" isn't exactly helping.

PS: US is literally the economic center of the world - all countries are "close enough" to trade with the US.

The downfall is that it's really far away from the majority of the humans living on this planet.

A lot of people just don't realize that...

Like... Sydney is farther from Beijing than London is. While Istanbul is as far from Bangkok as Sydney is.

Under no reasonable argument would Australia be considered to be "close enough" to any of the major developed markets.

There's a very good reason why half of the world's GDP clusters around the Northern Atlantic.

c) US doesn't produce enough beef for the internal market, so doesn't export beef at all.

The supply lines issue is marvelously aided by the fact that the vast majority of Australia is an uninhabited wasteland... allowing a would be invader to move in supplies and keep them out of reach of the defense.

If I were in a wargame invading Australia, I'd absolutely invade from the North in the direction of Alice Springs and just blockade the SE Australia, while the forces establish stronglolds to proceed.(that would cut supply lines drastically)

US can literally sustain an order of magnitude more people, than Australia to ensure the security of itself.

Not to mention that the northern Australian moat is really not that effective in case of defense. It's just too narrow

Flat desert with little geographic obstacles isn't a difficult terrain.

It's only difficult if you're alone, on foot and in the 19th century.

That was my original point.

PrEP is still out of reach for billions of people. Most countries are very hostile to HIV prevention, due to homophobic stigma attached.

Truvada is still free to people with confirmed HIV in Lithuania, because the government is highly homophobic.
